i doubt i need to tell you that grace coddington is a goddess because you probably already know, but i couldn’t let the news slide that she had illustrated cat portraits for vogue.com in celebration of the met ball. the chic felines (wearing margiela, versace, and saint laurent) also look eerily similar to coddington’s own furry friend, pumpkin.
the trailer for vogue’s upcoming documentary in vogue: the editor’s eye is now available to view and get you psyched for its december 6 airing on hbo. if you are feeling sassy, i highly recommend that you start a drinking game that goes a little like this: take a shot every time a well-dressed woman with a british accent says “image” or “fashion.” …actually, don’t. you may hurt yourself/not be legal and i just can’t condone that.
yesterday, grace coddington took over vogue’s twitter account to answer questions and promote her new book. she spent most of the allotted hour talking about her cat and being the kooky aunt that i already have (hi, aunt enid!) but could always use another of.

yesterday, i showed you the result of my participation in a sperry for vogue event, but here is a short video clip provided by the magazine that features my intense feelings for leopard print. admittedly, i’m kind of having a fat day and am trying hard to ignore the double chin that i swear never goes away, but i hope you like my tips.
i just came back from an afternoon event co-hosted by vogue and sperry to both preview the fall collection and style it with some of the magazine’s advertisers (vince, ann taylor, cynthia vincent, etc.) and—i have to say—i was pleasantly surprised. now, clearly i’m not a preppy girl (that’s more mariel’s scene) and have never worn a pair of boat shoes, but now i’m rethinking all that life has to offer. check out those leopard loafers, guys!
more to come re: sperry fall 2012. expect styles to arrive in stores in two weeks.
