we are all aware of my love for uniqlo (we all know this), but seeing as its recent collab with leur logette is now being marked-down and filtered out of stores, i wanted to shine a light on the japenese label. translated to “their little room” in french, its clothes are girly and romantic in a way that [surprisingly] does not overwhelm you with femininity. the uniqlo off-chute is a bit simpler than leur logette’s usual pieces, but are très wearable, so i encourage you to become familiar in-person.

daniel vosovic has revealed his spring/summer 2013 collection in a beautiful lookbook that stars a very stern-looking model. nevermind that, like i said, the clothes are gorgeous and create a color palette of nude (my favorite), black, coral, and acid green. can we all agree that vosovic has come a long way since his ‘project runway’ days?

in god we trust’s spring/summer 2013 (made in manhattan, y’all! what is up!) collection may have hit stores and online a couple of weeks ago, but it hasn’t lost steam considering steam is literally rising from the streets today.

the pieces, which truly embody the spirit of the season in the big city, range in price from $131 to $558 and are definitely inspiring me to do some crunches.

i recently stumbled upon looks from all saints’ current collection, which as you can see above, is enough to make a grown (wo)man cry. i’ve created a grail quest for myself to purchase the perfect pair of worn-in, over-sized denim shorts this season, so i have hope that they will be found at all saints — or a local thrift shop. either one ;)

it is pretty clear that opening ceremony wants me to go bankrupt. i mean, why else would they design such covetable bags for spring? you’re stumped, i know.

i had been alerted of emily blunt’s plans to go pink for the punkified met gala but doubted that the result would be as glorious as the eye look created by james boehmer for creatures of the wind spring 2013. and since i admit defeat when necessary, i was proven wrong — it was stellar. recreate it using jardin des plantes satin lip pencil.

as my obsession with liebeskind has been solidified, it is more than high time to reveal the berlin-based brand’s spring/summer 2013 lookbook, which is crammed full of simple, yet impactful design. pastels, metallic, and subtle unique detailing like hand-painted leather are featured, creating an eclectic mix of wearability.

you have no idea how much pleasure it gives me to be surprised by brands, in any sort of way, so obviously i heaved a sigh of excitement (they don’t just come out of relief, you know) to learn that eileen fisher had hired kate young to style this most recent lookbook. that chick can make anything look good, even the simplest linen pieces.

for the first time since college, last night involved imbibing tequila, so that’s where my head is at right now. semi-relatedly, i cannot stop staring at this visual from hansel from basel’s spring/summer 2013 collection. it is mesmerizing. also, is it naptime yet?

i have yet to find a shiftdress that doesn’t make me look lumpy in places that didn’t look lumpy before, but this spring 2013 lookbook is providing high hopes that babe new york could give me with that dress. this semi-new label was named after founder colleen keller’s aunt eileen “babe” aloisio whose discerning eye and innate knowledge as a seamstress continues to serve as its primary inspiration.
