hi. i'm sara. i work at nars, but my opinions are my own.
e-mail me: sarazucker@gmail.com
got a question? ask it.
i have a twitter.
i sometimes blog at wwbw.
farpitzs means "all dressed up" in yiddish.

i told you i’d show it to you, didn’t i? that i would reveal some of the stella & dot spring 2012 collection? here ‘tis. not familiar with the site? well, let me break it down:
in addition to all of those memorable bulletpoints, stella & dot gives you the option of becoming a “stylist.” this allows you to sell pieces out of your own home and earn a profit similar to the avon, mary kay, and chloe & isabel business models.
also? i never ate one of those macarons and i’m really regretting it right now.
this is a small taste of what i saw at last night’s spring 2012 collection preview from stella & dot. don’t you worry, there is much, much more to see. i just like to tease you.
according to a recent article in wwd, shaped bags (round, rectangular, square) are going to be a big trend come spring 2012. unfortunately, many of the styles the publication suggested are all sorts of expensive. would you rather: shell out hundreds or plop down a handful of alexander hamiltons? i’m on the fence with this one.

as i warned you last night, there was more to the club monaco spring 2012 collection than met the eye the first time we all saw it. in fact, there was a second half!
and how many times will i tell you how much i love club monaco before you become annoyed and stop reading me? hopefully zero because at the rate the retailer is going, i’ll be a fan for life. look at all this floaty, flirty, springified goodness! look at those patterns! the luxe bohemian aesthetic! this collection makes me wish i were a better dresser—how else could i do the clothes justice? nevermind all that; what do you think? will you be stopping by your neighborhood cm to check out the line?
i previewed the second half of club monaco’s spring 2012 collection this morning. yes, there are two parts to this line. hold onto your hats, people! it’s a good one.
if you’re a longtime reader of this blog, you probably know how much i love club monaco. seeing the retailer’s spring 2012 lookbook (see it in its entirety here) only solidifies this obsession. these looks in particular have me looking forward to popping into the nearest location—especially to snag that leather-paneled coat.
i now know that i’ll never be able to have enough khirma eliazov in my life.

you may not believe it, but i am rarely blown away by a new designer and their work. this blog may disprove that theory considering you only see what i post and i only post about what i like, but it’s true. yesterday’s visit to preview the khirma eliazov spring handbag line was one of those collections where, upon seeing it, i felt compelled to call my mother and rant about its beauty for at least ten minutes. ten! ten minutes! the amount of mind-blowing texture combined with luxest-of-the-luxe materials (embossed python, satin, lizard, waxed canvas, stingray) left me breathless. you have no idea how anxious and excited i’ve been to show these bags to you. to tell you a little bit about khirma, the republic of georgia-born designer began her foray into fashion as an editor and stylist before debuting her first collection in november 2009. in less than three years, she has created a line of covetable handbags.
because of the description above, you should prepare yourself; a khirma eliazov bag is for the faint of heart. you may want to start saving your pennies because prices range from $110 for a python cuff (the last picture) to a $1,680 python tote.

as i mentioned last night, i recently had the opportunity to get my hands into some karen millen. the british designer extended the invitation to myself and a chosen group of bloggers to style two models in her latest collection and i just couldn’t refuse. would you? (fyi: being at a photo shoot is a strange experience; models are being groomed, photographers are setting up their equipment, clothes and accessories are strewn around the room.) i can’t wait for you to see the looks i put together!
what did i do last week? just styled karen millen’s spring 2012 collection, no biggie.
i’m being casual about it, but the experience was so fun! basically, karen invited a bunch of her favorite bloggers to put together looks with her latest line. this studded leopard clutch was particularly note-worthy. you’ll have to stay tuned for the result.
