though i am open to alerting you of various opportunities this holiday season, you probably won’t find a “gift guide.” that being said, my friends at bollare have teamed up with refinery29 on a series of shoppable videos. the "tinseltown" clips feature gift guides and other fun tips on how to make this winter the most entertaining ever.

a little birdy also hinted that there may be a pop-up in this collab’s future…stay tuned!

i can’t say i’m shocked that refinery29 has extended itself yet again, this time in the form of an accessories line in collaboration with dkny. the site has made it very clear that it yearns to be a major power-player in the digital sphere when it comes to fashion, though i can’t say that its efforts have been 100% successful from a consumer standpoint (slideshows! dating advice! groupon-like services!).

the seven-piece handbag line, called refinery29 + dkny, features styles named after cities where the site maintains a localized presence (nyc, chicago, miami, los angeles, washington d.c., san francisco, and london) and will retail from $195 to $395 beginning in march at dkny stores, dkny.com and refinery29.com.

all in all, the partnership itself, while somewhat creative, falls flat in the design sector. i think the patterns and shapes themselves are a bit…safe. what do you think?
