oh my goodness, thank you so much—you are so sweet! and that is not a strange question at all! regarding statement makeup like a dark lip, i always keep the rest of my makeup semi-low key (i.e. just pale blush and liquid liner, not a smoky eye or obvious contouring). also? lip liner. lipstick tends to bleed and liner acts like a barrier in keeping color relegated to only the area inside of the tracing. some women line the entire expanse of their lips for extra staying power, but i don’t mind touching up.
