let me take this moment to remind you again that j brand has a ready-to-wear collection and that it is mind-blowing. as in, the second you see it, your brains will be pressing up against your skull ready to blow out with excitement (it’s a little graphic, i know, but i felt it was necessary). though i have officially gross you out, let the moment pass quickly because these clothes are too good. yes, too good. it’s possible. i want everything.

that lurker in the background of this pic knows—this camel bomber is boss. i mean, a peter pan-like collar and kangaroo pockets? on a leather jacket? j brand, you are killing it. kudos to you. the real question is: does anyone have a spare $995 lying around?

the first j brand clothing line

yesterday at the independent fashion bloggers conference, i had the opportunity of checking out j brand’s very first ready-to-wear clothing collection. wwd first announced the creation of this line in august, so i’ve been looking forward to seeing it in person, but um, i’m going to need a moment alone with these clothes, you guys. aside from the color palette being toned-down and accessible for even anti-color people like myself, the pieces themselves were uber mix-and-matchable. think: silk chambray shirts, menswear-inspired trousers, buttery leather jackets, and chunky knit sweaters.

the line is available for purchase online, right this moment, right now, today.
