vintage and faux furs are huge this season now that temperatures have turned colder (first snow last night!), which may help some penny pinchers feel a little better about their purchase. as we know, buying vintage is another way of recycling clothing while [most times] saving a few bucks.

wearing a fur adds a bit of old-school glamour to any look and the one shown above was not discounted in my generalization. this girl’s addition of a bright, printed scarf was a great way to bring in some color and also kept with the retro feel. and the cherry on top? her matching red lips.
