as i said, “despite the fact that there are many diverse areas in the whole of brooklyn…” i completely agree with you, the article is a joke. my sarcasm clearly didn’t come through this time around and for that i apologize.
despite the fact that there are many diverse areas in the whole of brooklyn, the brooklyn paper has taken upon itself the task of defining female style.No offense, Sara, but this article about “Brooklyn” only talks about Williamsburg, Ft. Greene, Park Slope, Carroll Gardens & Red Hook, a.k.a. as close to Manhattan in Brooklyn as you can get (not an opinion, just look at a map). I see no mention of the rest of this giant borough, the not-as-cool places to live such as Bay Ridge, Sunset Park, Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst, Boro Park, Marine Park, Mill Basin, Canarsie, etc.
As someone who was born, raised & currently living in Brooklyn, I think this article is severly lacking.
