i know, you’re probably getting tired of my incessant ramblings about my love for flappers. too bad. during the great depression, women felt inspired to rebel against societal norms in regards to fashion; some cut their hair and their hemlines, giving rise to a new era of woman. this causes me to wonder what we females have up our sleeves for the next few years. obviously we all have something to say about the economy, but i can’t wait to see how fashion trends will be truly affected by the downturn. regardless, it better involve a little barney-mugging with a snugglepup… (via vintagephoto)
