i love cat eye frames and alexander wang’s updated versions of the classic style [created with the help of linda farrow], seen at his spring 2010 ready-to-wear runway show, were killer but there was no way that i would be able to afford a pair at $325. thank god for forever21 and its unapologetic plagiarism of high fashion; i bought something similar sans silver tips for $5.80 and, with the help of some strips of tape and silver nail polish, created my own. et voilà!
