though i have been making an attempt to cut down on my fast fashion intake (and fast food, while we’re at it), i couldn’t help stopping into a local forever21 before a night out on the town with my sister. result: buying these two shirts.
the vintage-inspired woven blouse is so lovely. it is hard to find well-fitting antique lace versions in good condition and at a good price, so this was the perfect compromise. i’ve also been looking for a striped tunic for a while and this scoopneck was the first to flatter my figure. i know, i was shocked too. and both are fairly well-made! with a little solid justification, you don’t have to feel bad about giving in to temptation, even if it is mass-produced.
