the kenneth cole collection spring 2013 presentation

it’s pretty understandable that, for the most part, the only collections i show on my blog are ones that i really like, so when i tell you that the kenneth cole collection’s upcoming seasonal line-up is drool-inducing, i hope you won’t think i’m over-exaggerating.

first, i loved that this event did not take place during fashion week; october is ideal, when your brain isn’t overloaded from runway show after runway show and you can actually process the product you’re seeing in front of you. second, LOOK AT THOSE CLOTHES, THOUGH. THE DETAILS. THE TEXTURE. admittedly, i wouldn’t think of kenneth cole for edgy clothes, so they were gloriously unexpected. the footwear and handbags (which cole is most known for, in my opinion) with their sleek structure and hardware didn’t hurt. everything was black and white, yet nothing screamed “bland” or “boring” in any sort of way because it was spicy and bold and modern. kudos are due to mr. cole on rendering me half-speechless—the other half was spent shouting about this line’s greatness.
