Hey Sara, I absolutely love your blog! A few months ago I purchased a white, lace, loose-fitted mini skirt and I've been having some trouble styling it. A lot of tops that I own are one solid color. Would it be better if the top had a pattern or would that be too much with the lace? I also usually wear tights under my skirts, so would it be best to stick with a solid colored tight? Thanks so much!

first, thank you so much! second, i don’t think that wearing a patterned top with your skirt will be “too much,” but if you are nervous, look for one in a subtle print like polka dots or stripes in one color that will complement the lace without overpowering it. regarding tights, yes, i would aim for solid colors here as well.
