here is a great example of draping, but upon further inspection i realized that the pleating and ruffling could easily be self-made. by taking a long, thick cardigan (not because i love them, but because the fabric is able to be separated in the middle) and a waist-cinching belt, the cloth can quickly be folded and twisted underneath the belt until you achieve the draping that you are looking for. for men, as i have shown in past photos, my favorite manipulation is by buttoning the buttons or clasps unevenly to create a unique line.
