there are often times when i think long and hard about one particular subject to the point where my brain starts to hurt.

this is one of those times.

today, i wondered what exactly was the point of my blog. i realize that most blogs out there don’t have one common thread, but i have always strived to keep a connection between my posts. i try my best to concentrate on things such as street style, the common man, finding inspiration in the every day and mundane and even the not-so-regular. my goal and hope has been (and how charitable am i, in the least sarcastic of ways) to help people and make them see themselves in a new light, by helping to assist people in impressing themselves and, in doing so, impressing others. i promote stores that i cannot afford to shop in, yet dream of being able to splurge, or i spread word of shows that i cannot attend because my schedule is hectic and filled with finishing assignments that i have put off.

perhaps, in the end, i don’t need a premise. perhaps i just need something to focus on, in an effort to take away from my busy lifestyle. for me, concentrating on something, fashion, allows me to breathe. it seems silly, but this helps me relax.
