i really thought that i was over rompers/jumpsuits/one-pieces, but i must’ve lied to myself. i’ve also reinvigorated my passion for independent designers. anyway, this jumper was designed by brooklyn’s own love brigade. alex interns there, but that wasn’t what compelled me to write this post. rather, in the past year, my long island town has begun putting up posters encouraging its inhabitants to “shop local!” rather than go to chain stores. only a mile away from my house, a family-owned pharmacy just opened up its second location across the street from a cvs and, though i do love my extracare card, you know where i’ll be shopping from now on. i also noticed that betsy bought most of her wedding accoutrement [including the bridesmaid gifts] on etsy. it just feels better knowing that you are helping out the little people, right?
