shopping for shoes is a little like dating. you take the tentative steps into the coffee shop/restaurant/movie theatre/brothel (footwear section) looking for the perfect mate (or pair). sometimes, the date might not go well, so you move on to the next, just as you would with a pair that doesn’t quite suit your fancy.
you may really like what you see on a date and struggle to conform for such an overly-attractive man. isn’t that like squeezing your toes into beautiful shoes that are a size too small? some women are drawn to the bad boys of the footwear world, the uncomfortable and expensive; i am one of those women.
