yesterday, i styled my mom for an upcoming sisterhood fashion show at my temple. (i am fully aware that this post is starting off at all levels of awkward.) to make matters worse, the event is sponsored by chico’s, and i was forced to go into a store that makes me itch to assist the woman who bore me. matronly clothing as far as the eye can see…or so i thought. i left having fallen in love with their crochet-inspired maileena necklace. see? i can be proven wrong.
