Brown and black, people seem to be breaking the old rule does this apply to dark blues (like a deep navy) and blacks too? Also I'm curious-any big fashion petpeeves? What trend do you love this season and which do you think we could live without?

so many questions! i tackled the first one head-on by creating an outfit that combines two dark neutrals, navy and black, to demonstrate how i would wear them. choose one shade as a base (in this case, black) and accessorize with the other shade (navy).

fashion pet peeves include wearing leggings as pants, slouch socks, mom jeans, and leaving the house with stains on your clothes. i could do without the pajama trend. lastly, i am loving the resurgence of ‘great gatsby’/roaring twenties glamour.
