yesterday, vera bradley went public via the stock market (what took it so long?) and, to the shock of many, its shares raised $178 million. within the day. my mind was blown, so i clicked over to the carpet bag company’s website to see if things had changed and its product was less creative knitting and more couture. while a majority of the styles hadn’t changed, i am intrigued by vera’s plaid large tote. maybe the brand is going “heritage”? one can only hope.
