the ann taylor spring 2011 collection preview

last night, i had the pleasure of attending ann taylor’s spring 2011 preview.

  

 

the collection was organized in tableau format, moving from what women would wear in the beginning of spring to the end. as i said to peter, “this is not your mother’s ann taylor” and i promise that it is true; the clothing was chicer, the materials richer and the accessories to-die-for.

 

 

the event also highlighted the ann taylor wedding/events collection.

attendees were treated to a performance by the ladies of au revoir simone.

 

it was so great seeing blogger friends like erica and claire, john, and doree. djs harley and cassie spun throughout the night and as a whole, the event was perfection and i can’t wait to see the clothing in stores this spring. i definitely have my eye on more than a few jackets and purses.
