I am going to my first big NYE event. However, much to my dismay, it turns out to be an all white event. Yikes! What do you recommend wearing for a curvy girl like myself? My fashion future is in your hands!

though i would never wish an “all white” event upon my worst enemy, you have no cause to fret! okay, maybe one cause—don’t drink any colorful beverages! and bring a tide to-go pen! anyway, from one curvy girl to another, i would suggest:

  1. a body-skimming (but not tight—there is a difference!), ruched white dress
  2. silver sandals
  3. a matching sparkly clutch
  4. add a plum lipstick for an unexpected splash of color
