as i announced one mere day ago, this week’s “a bag a week” feature is sponsored by modusrio. what you may not know about this burgeoning brand is that i met her (sara, the designer) after i spoke on a panel at the handbag designer 101 workshop. she came up to me as i was leaving and not only was i impressed by her tenacity, but also by her handbag, which was a rich camel-colored leather and had many useful outside pockets. upon seeing the purse she was wearing/had created, i was sold! as you can clearly see above, sara illustrates an attention to detail ignored by many brands today.
