How have you gone about transitioning your wardrobe to being a bit more 'professional,' while still keeping your personal style intact?

oh, gosh, do i look more professional these days? i mean, i wore pajamas to work the other day. and today i’m wearing a sweatshirt. when it comes to looking professional, i definitely shouldn’t be your mentor, but what i will recommend is purchasing a really great blazer (in a neutral shade like gray, camel or black) and well-fitting slim slacks (preferably cropped). both look good with t-shirts or blouses, dressed up or down.
