let’s face it: alice + olivia knows how to make a party dress. bat mitzvahs, proms, holiday parties…stacey bendet gets what we girls want in a fun, flirty frock. her spring 2012 collection is proof of this. (try not to be blown away by how huge this line is.) i had the pleasure of stopping by the showroom yesterday morning and was walked through the many pieces that make up what i hope they don’t mind my stealing for two seasons from now. yes, that was a run-on sentence. i was just so blown away by the prints, texture, light shades to bright colors, the eras touched upon by such a range of styles; any female could find something she liked in the mix.

also interesting? alice + olivia is one of the only high-end labels to include a “career”-focused line. this translates to wearable, toss-on-with-anything neutral pieces that can be easily work in any work environment, from casual to conservative.
