hi. i'm sara. i work at nars, but my opinions are my own.
e-mail me: sarazucker@gmail.com
got a question? ask it.
i have a twitter.
i sometimes blog at wwbw.
farpitzs means "all dressed up" in yiddish.
technically, i work in e-mail marketing, which, to put it simply, means that i make e-mails [for a mass retailer that shall remain anonymous, specifically]. my friends call me a “spammer.” it was never something that i thought i would fall into (i wanted/still want to be a museum archivist and have plans to get my phd in archival studies), but i enjoy working with a computer every day. finishing a code makes me feel like i have just climbed mount everest!
so, why marketing? because, post-graduate school, i needed a job. it was offered to me, it had great benefits, so i took it — the recession has caused many, including myself, to put aside dreams of grandeur for the time being.
would i change my job? well, i have accepted my position and will do it to the best of my ability until it feels appropriate to move on, but if i was offered a new opportunity with buckets of money being thrown in my face? maybe…
