every season for the past few, i’ve looked forward to seeing what ann taylor has cooked up. i used to be more of a loft fan, but since i’ve started attempting to look more like a businesslady, my style has veered into ann taylor territory. look at all that texture! the bright, punchy colors! those classic, wearable shapes designed to fit every woman! obviously i was pleased to see all that neon, but the addition of leather paneling (especially the leather paneling), metallic shimmer and matte sequin detailing were definite highlights. the spring collection was divided into color palettes of turquoise/neon yellow/navy, blush/ivory/peach, black/tan/coral and seafoam/cobalt/bright pink. overall, i rate the clothes and accessories a “g” for “gimme that.”
