i was planning on writing a post about that article, but now that you’ve come to me, i have even more of an excuse to focus on the ‘smoking flat.’ i agree that $150 may be a bit much for an of-the-moment shoe, though this type of footwear has been around forever. if that isn’t enough justification, try these more affordable styles:

  • sam edelman, $150
  • charles philip, $135
  • dv dolce vita, $79
  • topshop, $60
