I'm without a doubt hitting up Somewhere in Time and that adorable general store you posted about a million years ago, but do you have any suggestions for the Bellport area/anywhere on our drive back? (We're heading from Long Island to Philly, so we only have a few hours in town)

you are truly in for a treat — though i am not extremely familiar with bellport, i wholeheartedly believe that the more off-the-beaten-track you go on long island, the better the gems! the town’s website is very helpful and, if possible, hop onto mountauk highway and visit buttons and bows. in regards to your unpublished question of “any suggestions for anywhere i can go berry or apple picking,” i will direct you to the long island harvest calendar.
