this shoot-me-in-the-head photo, taken about a year and a half ago, almost expresses the multitude of feelings that i’ve had since this morning, when i was notified that some asshole (mild understatement) stole my debit card number and spent $800 worth of my savings on who-knows-what. probably crap.
i’ve never been through this type of thing before. it isn’t one that i would wish on my worst enemy and while this blog may fool you, i am extremely thrifty with my spending. penny-pinching is in my blood and this money could have paid for a multitude of things: rent, groceries, shoes. i feel violated that he/she took something that didn’t belong to them, frustrated that so much money is gone, anxious for it to be returned and upset because, hello, wouldn’t you be?
