wknd 8: steak and celebration

since i was too busy packing to document my adventures last weekend, i couldn’t let you down again. it began with a much-needed slab of beef with jess (sister zucker) after a long, long week. we will soon be roommates, away from our parents, and are getting very excited and anxious to move! this was our last short hurrah before beginning the next step of our lives in queens.

if eating meat is wrong, then i don’t want to be right. that steak was heaven.

saturday was the last available day for me to pack, and thus:

sigh. but sunday, mother zucker/father zucker/sister zucker and i squished into the family subaru to drive to connecticut for a wedding! despite the torrential downpour, it was the most beautiful setting you could imagine. the event was held inside of an old barn filled with a ceiling of twinkling lights.

the bride, my cousin melissa, was absolutely gorgeous and planned everything to the most minute detail — even the cake mimicked the barn’s wood panels!

and i will close this post off with the zucker family, cheesin’ it:
